Were we psychic? We accidentally scheduled the October 15th EO event on the night of the last Presidential debate. And our featured speaker is Willie Brown! Political junkies rejoice! We have moved the event to MoMo's, across from ATT Park, in order to guarantee television reception on their 4 big screens. We are doing a buyout with Cocktails outside on the outside deck, inside for Dinner and the Debate, followed by Commentary by Willie Brown!

 SFEO is excited to host Willie L. Brown, Jr. one of the more influential and charismatic figures in California politics, who served over 30 years in the California State Assembly - 15 years as its Speaker, and afterwards for 8 years as the mayor of San Francisco. Under current California term limit law, no Speaker of the California State Assembly will ever have a longer tenure than Brown's record 15 years. EO Members and invited guests will watch the last presidential debate on the 4 big screens at Momo's and then Willie Brown will give us him commentary...something normally reserved for MSNBC, ABC or CNN!
The San Francisco Chronicle called Brown “one of San Francisco’s most notable mayors” that had “celebrity beyond the city’s boundaries.” His eight years as Mayor of San Francisco provided a fitting climax to a career in public service spanning nearly 40 years. During this election season, he has been continually interviewed on MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, KGO radio for his take both on national and state-wide politics.
