Event Description

Fortune Magazine named Martin Eberhard, founder and former CEO of Tesla Motors, one of their top innovators of 2007.  Business 2.0 named Eberhard in their top 50 People Who Matter Now. Newsweek dubbed the Tesla Roadster an Electric Dream!  Wired Magazine named it the 2007 Car of the Year.  

Martin Eberhard's high tech, six figure battery-powered electric car is less about bland eco-consciousness than about sex and speed.  The Tesla Roadster goes over 130 MPH, and goes more than 200 miles on a single charge.  And oh, yes, it's also helping to save the earth.  Next up, Eberhard will take aim at the mass market by introducing a four-door sedan, The Whitestar, slated to debut in 2009 at half the price.
