| Event Description | How Entrepreneurs Can Incorporate Their Passions Into Their Daily Business and Personal Lives: Insight into Entrepreneurs’ Love of Art & Wine:
Join us on April 15, as EO San Francisco explores how entrepreneurs incorporate interests they are most passionate about into their lives. We will hear from two entrepreneurs who have followed their dreams and experience their passions with them. Join us for a stimulating evening of art, wine, jazz and dinner:
5:10 pm – 6:30pm: Private Tour of the Gap Art Collection: We will receive a private guided tour of the Gap Art Collection. Come and see the collection built by the founders of the Gap, Doris and Don Fisher at the corporate headquarters of the Gap. This internationally recognized collection is currently not open to the public. The private tour only accommodates thirty-five people – if you are interested please let us know as soon as possible – only the first thirty-members and their guests may attend. Members are limited to one guest. After the tour we will walk over to Shanghai 1930s for wine tasting and dinner.
6:00pm – 7:00pm at Shanghai 1930s: Wine Tasting with International Author & Wine Entrepreneur Courtney Cochran: Courtney Cochran (http://www.courtneycochran.com/), founder of Your Personal Sommelier and author of one of the most popular books released this year about wine, Hip Taste (http://www.hiptastesbook.com/), will host a wine tasting for us at Shanghai 1930s. Courtney will also talk about founding her company after getting her MBA, writing her book and combining her love for business and wine. Courtney is a certified sommelier and wine consultant. Your Personal Sommelier provides personalized wine services to private and corporate clients, wine-minded organizations and restaurants, making wine accessible and fun for those who think outside the mainstream wine box.
7:00pm at Shanghai 1930s: Photography, Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship, a Talk by David Mahoney: After achieving success in the business world, David was the co-CEO of McKesson and Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, iMcKesson, David has devoted more of his time to photography as a social entrepreneur. David is on the Board of Trustees of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and chairs the Photography Accessions Committee. David will speak to us about how he combined his love for photography and skills as an entrepreneur and business leader to give back to our community. David is a former Chair of the Golden Gate Chapter of YPO. He is currently a director of Symantec Corp (Nasdaq: SYMC), Corcept Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CORT), and Tercica, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRCA).
